While cleaning up spring’s early growth that is now dying off before the start of summer, I was surprised to find the morning glory has put crawlers that now invade many parts of the garden.

These crawlers can be a bit domineering and completely cover up other plants so we usually move them carefully to one side or the other. The key take here is that I think we planted the morning glory in a place it doesn’t like to bloom, because all its flowers appear on these vines five or six meters away.

All in all, no ones complaining given the beautiful tones of blue, purple and mauve we’re seeing yet again this year.
