Poland - Warsaw

Another beautiful city and the largest one of Poland. Certainly one of our favorites! Love the atmosphere, friendly people and surroundings. Each city has a place that is its showcase and a must-see on any trip. In Warsaw, it’s the Old Town, and it's part of the UNESCO World Heritage List – it’s where the city’s heart has been beating for centuries. Historical buildings blend in harmoniously with modern architecture, and the city surprises us by revealing its second face.

Hi Yashil!

I am so happy you liked the city I was born and raised in. Even though I left Warsaw about twenty years ago, it is my beloved place on the planet. I fly there at least once a month and keep a second apartment close to the airport 😁.

BTW, thanks for liking my post about Lake Chad. Africa is my passion. Check on my blog entry about Rodrigues. I managed to get there (and then back to Europe and to India) just before covid put a break on my travels. Well, time to discover beauty next door.

Cheers, Piotr.

Hi Piotr!

Thank you dear friend. Poland is definitely the country my wife and I have enjoyed the most. We have so many good memories over there and we would love to go again some day.

You had a great set of pictures on the Lake Chad. I will definitely check out your post about Rodrigues. It is actually very close to Mauritius.

Stay safe.

Cheers,
Yashil
