Very nice selction of pictures.

I was amazed by the diversity of cultures I encountered in Port Louis. So different to Warsaw or the Eifel in Germany where I live. Also found some fascinating murals there. And now you have the light rail transport operating! Cool.¬†A Christmas tree on an Indian Ocean island looks weird, weird, very weird, though ūüėĀ.¬†

Let me post something about Mauritius soon.

You are right. The Mauritian culture and diversity is what makes it unique as a country. The metro has been launched since now a year from Port-Louis to Rose-hill. Other routes are still under work. Haha, yes in fact Christmas has always been celebrated here and it's also a public holiday smile
