Lake 22, a simple hike at 5.4 miles round trip with only 1350 ft. of climbing, was a great recovery from my Saturday of pain and expansive views. The trail was a bit wetter than expected, with small streams flowing across the trail throughout. By the time we came back down the muddy slopes, the majority of the path was underwater. Amazingly, in this part of the country, this is a pretty average scene.
