For old times sake

About 25 years ago I took some pictures [photoblog.com] in the Swedish port of Norrköping. Today, I was on a business trip to the same town and had some dead time on my hands so for old times sake I took a stroll down to the harbour. Most of it was now off bounds but at least I got this one which sort of links into the old set although the sloppiness I've adopted from using a point and shoot show through.

sloppiness is really just a sign of maturity, in all its best meanings of course

Well, you can never take the same photograph twice, no matter how different or similar the camera, but it's always heartening to compare different images of the same place. It was a good idea to mask the LX3's functions in the same mono mode as your scanned images. Offers a nice comparison...

the same sky and same seawater :-) I think without your comments I would not have been able distinguishing between the two sets, which one is past and which one is present, although most probably you`ve taken this above with a technically slightly more developed camera than those 25 years ago. now on a business trip, but what have you been doing here 25 years ago? ex-pirate?
