The death toll has reached 15,355,
8,281 people are missing,
98,916 people have lost their houses.

I took these pictures in Ibaraki, next to Fukushima.

There was a historical building on the edge of this cliff before 3.11 [ibarakiguide.jp]

Was it a shop ?

These houses are abandoned now.

This is really sad :( I have no doubt that Japanese people will rebound and get back on their feet. But nothing can make up for the lives lost and all the destruction. #5 is just heartbreaking.

dear Yokai
you are the people of rise, you did it many times, even the nuke couldnt stop your people to go forward...
i felt so sad by those shots, but near it,and maybe underneath all your shots,i felt a powerful life energy...
i hope see you again,by camera in hand,to shoot all the beauties around....

It is still shocking to see these well known images, devastation, abandon over all, what is the work of men in front of the forces of nature?
