Kinkaku-ji, Golden Pavilion 金閣寺 (Part 2)

Kinkaku-ji was originally built in 1397. It is the best known temple and is one of the must-sees among the sightseeing spots in Japan. The upper two walls are covered with gold foil and there is a bronze phoenix on the roof.
