Yuki-tsuri : ropes stretched from top of a tree to the lower branches to prevent their breaking under heavy snow.

Rikugien is located in the center of Tokyo.  It is an oasis in the busy city.

Very nice pictures. The sun caught in the tree branches in #2 looks great. I can't wait to visit Tokyo again next month!

Another beautiful series @yokia
#4 is very similar to trees I saw at Kenrokuen Garden in Kanazawa.

Thanks a lot, Ram!
The Yuki-tsuri ropes in Tokyo are accessories but the ones in Kenrokuen are effective and practical.
