The next morning we woke, we started off with muffins and coffee.
PSA, don't boil french press water in an open pot over a fire. It will taste like chemicals and ash.
I know we all agreed to not remember that we did that, but I can't help but remember it while looking back at these photos.
After it warmed up a little, and the sun was higher in the sky we headed into McCall to do some exploring. Okay well, maybe it was more like let's find some place to eat and fall asleep while waiting for a table, but it was fun none-the-less. Turns out everyone had the same idea as us.
Travelers from all parts were cramming into this tiny town. We had to wait over 50 minutes for a table.
At least the outside views of the restaurant were pleasant to look at.
After breakfast we spent some time on the beach soaking in the sun. As I look back at these photos, I'm not quite for sure why I hadn't taken any while we were there aside from this photo of a deer we saw along the way. My thoughts were maybe it was too piercingly bright. Either way, I know we spent a few hours on the lake beach, hanging up the hammock and chillin' out.
After seeing what McCall had to offer (which wasn't a lot, the town is pretty small) we headed back to camp to relax, play card games, and fly the drones more.
