Just about every year, we get together with our friends and go to the local pumpkin patch.
We spend the afternoon hacking through the fields while hunting for that perfect pumpkin.
And every year we forget to bring something to actually cut the vine from the pumpkin with. Those vines are so pokey!
Mostly every year that we have gone in the past, the weather was so cold that after fifteen minutes of hunting we all have frozen fingers.
So I decided to wear my lopapeysa.
This year, however, it was hot! Too hot for an afternoon in Fall.
Luckily, wool doesn't retain odor or it would have probably smelled pretty bad from all the sweating I did.
A few days before Halloween, we get together and carve the pumpkins we got from the patch. After, we hang out and play party games or just simply chill and watch movies together to end the evening.
It's been a tradition now for a few years, and it's one that I look forward to.
