Shibe watches a YouTube video on how to assemble our new screen
A long time ago, once upon a time when I got my first dSLR, I was wide eyed and ready to go out and explore the world of professional photography. I explored some areas of the art that I don't enjoy so much now, (like taking professional headshots/senior photos/weddings etc) and discovered what I liked using my camera for the most.
Long story short, I had an epiphany one day and realized that my camera should be for more than just hunting down beautiful landscapes. I use it as my journal to document everything, from the big life events to the tiny little things like putting together a projector screen.
So this is another one of those kinds of posts.
Ahem, anyway.
Before we had an actual projector screen we used two cali king high threadcount bedsheets stretched over a custom wooden frame. This year, my husband said we should treat ourselves. So we bought a professional one.
And man, is it nice.
I highly recommend!

Mikka helps by reading the instructions to us, or rather, keeping them safe I guess

This was the hardest step; stretching out the screen to fit the frame

One huge screen! Bet you will have awesome movie nights.
Yeah! Going to need a bigger popcorn bucket
