Shibe and I left in the evening to head up into the hills in search for deeper snow. There was very little, which surprised us considering the mountains always seem packed with it around this time of year. We had to drive pretty far up past Naches and even then all we found was a half frozen Horsetail Falls.
At least we got to see golden hour hit the tree tops.
It was an interesting adventure, to say the least. Shibe crashed his drone and I slipped on pure ice. No worries though, the drone and my body were completely fine.
It was a very much needed escape, though. Both of us have been stressed out lately.
Sometimes you just need a break to breathe in the crisp mountain air.
