I love the icicles and all the other patterns that a blanket of snow creates.
It doesn't get above freezing temperatures all week, but the bright sun still melts the snow. Going outside, you can clearly see who keeps their house warmer, as the icicles form from the edges of rooftops.
I try to pick one up, but it's so cold my hands turn bright red.
The sun shines brightly through what they are calling the "eye of the storm".
Now is probably a good opportunity to stock up on soups!
