This is first post in a series I plan to create. These are the posts to share the impact of Covid19 on the level that is often overlooked or unrealized.
My husband and I went out for a drive today, to get out of the house for a little bit. We didn't get out of the car, only stopped by our local Starbucks for a coffee.
We also planned on driving around the hot spots of Yakima, WA to see what impact Covid19 has had on our town so far.
This would be the first time we've left the house in weeks. My husband is fortunate enough that he can do his job entirely from home. And we are both trying to do our part in helping stop the spread of the virus.
It's important, during these times, to share what impact it has had on our lives. We can connect and support each other in ways that I think a lot of people are slowly now realizing, is possible.
The internet is such a wonderful thing.
I also think it's important that everyone realizes that every single person in the world is impacted by this virus. We are all in this together, and we need to support each other now more than ever.
Below are images from friends that I've received to share the impact that covid19 has had on their lives.
We have an online support group using the Discord app. We have a text channel where people have been sharing stories and as reliable information as we can find to stay connected and keep each other's spirits up.
We also meet nightly in a voice chat channel to keep each other company, even if we aren't playing any video games together. It's like we're all in the same room!
Stay healthy, my friends <3
