Where Dust Once Was a Man

These are from the natural cemetery in Socorro, a.k.a. our back yard. No landscaping, just the dead in repose amongst the creosote and cactus. The sense of peace is almost tangible.

Neat set Matt. There's something about the last one that I really like, must be th subtle colors in the backgreound

I like #2 too, cuz of the silhouette of the angel, and cuz of the brilliance of the sun behind it. Funny--I didn't recognize it was an angel at first and thought it was some kind of alien, like the wings looked like Yoda's ears...what a great idea for a headstone!

I like the first one. Could you make it a little darker though so the colours would be deeper. I think it might be a little overexposed. I hope you don't mind me saying that.
